What a Bike Means – Rwanda

Seen through Enzo’s eyes, this first episode shows how a bike that is a profession and playground for him and Ludo becomes transport, income and independence in Rwanda.

SCOR athlete Ludo May and young French rider Enzo Cavard travel to Rwanda, where bikes take on a different meaning. You get a look at two worlds where the same tool – a bike – carries very different weight: for Ludo and Enzo, it’s their profession and creative tool; for many people in Rwanda, it’s a way to work, to move, to live – getting to jobs, carrying goods and keeping daily life moving.

This first episode is Enzo’s chapter. He shares the moments and anecdotes that stuck with him most: meeting the one and only local MTB rider and bike owners, discovering how crucial bikes are for everyday tasks, riding Rwandan trails, and all the little moments in between – the laughs, the surprises, the “OK, this is different” situations.

It’s light, entertaining and easy to watch, but underneath sits a trip that changes how you look at two wheels. Enzo’s chapter is the teaser for a full documentary dropping next year, one that dives into the contrasts and connections between these two worlds.
